Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm that their manuscript complies with all of the following criteria. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision.

  • The submission has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal. If there is any overlap or prior dissemination, an explanation must be provided in the "Comments to the Editor" section.
  • The submission file must be in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word.
  • Where available, URLs for all references should be included.
  • The text should be single-spaced, use a 10-point font, and employ italics instead of underlining (except for web addresses). All illustrations, figures, and tables must be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end of the document.
  • The manuscript must follow the stylistic and bibliographic requirements detailed in the Author Guidelines.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
