About the Journal

• Dijlah Journal of Medical Sciences (DJMS) is a peer-reviewed, quarterly medical journal published by Dijlah University in Baghdad, Iraq. As an Open Access publication, DJMS provides free access to its content and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of their manuscripts in any compliant institutional or subject-based repository. The Journal welcomes both original clinical research and basic science studies, with a particular focus on prevalent diseases in the region and the analysis of region-specific health issues. Manuscripts are accepted in various formats, including original articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the Editor. Submission of a manuscript to DJMS implies that all authors have read and approved the final content and that the work fully complies with the journal’s editorial policies.
